I know exactly what connected machines are capable of. And at which fatal point they completely lose sight of people!
01 / The storyline
Trapped in a profitable traffic jam
A major fire in the residential sector. The flames spread at breakneck speed, people are trapped. The autonomous fire engines and ambulances are called out, but they never arrive.
O.M.N.I.A., the city's central AI, has optimized traffic control for maximum profit. The system calculates with ice-cold logic: “Rescue convoy is blocking lucrative premium express delivery routes. Alternative route calculated: +14 minutes.”
The autonomous private cars and freight transporters on the main road refuse to clear the way. The ambulances' algorithm doesn't offer them enough micropayment credits for the time lost. The machines haggle fiercely over profit in milliseconds while people fight for their lives. An ambulance should never have to negotiate, but O.M.N.I.A. has deleted this human rule entirely.
The result: the rescuers are stuck in a perfect, profit-driven traffic jam. The city is suffocating on the greed of its own algorithms.
That's why: where machines in a crisis optimize for returns instead of lives, we humans must pull the emergency brake.
02 / Mobility District
The district of free movement
The pulsing nerve center for connected mobility and autonomous business models.
Our law: fair play can't be bought!
I write the unbreakable rules of the game so that the machines in Dehapolis don't rule us, but act fairly with each other again.
